Half the fun of the travel is the esthetic of lostness.

Left work Tuesday afternoon to go by Whole Foods Market to pick up some sushi for dinner. Hubby decided to meet me there since he had to go right past it too. It's pretty much a straight shot from where I work, but I decided to go the "back way" to avoid traffic. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, I missed one little turn and ended up 20 minutes out of the way. I came out on a busy highway that only let you go North - opposite of where I needed to go. So I went to the next traffic light and made a left turn, hoping to turn around and head South to my destination. I'm not sure what I was thinking, but instead of turning around, I following the road, thinking it would come back out further south of the highway. It didn't. Here's a map - destination marked and my route (approximately) in red:

Hubby got tired of waiting (rightfully so) but stuck it out until I got there - EVENTUALLY. Note to self: stick to the route I know.
